I've finally decided what I want to do with my life.

Wow. Has been awhile. Many apologies.

So. I think I've figured out what I want to do with my life. And I just realized.. it's not advertising.. it's marketing. But, advertising is really just a small hop away from marketing, so I think an advertising degree would still be a good idea. I realized today that I want to design promotional materials for companies. I think that falls into the category of marketing.

What I mean is, the stuff that hangs all around the store, I want to make that stuff. Like, signs and posters and promotional materials.. now I need to figure out what exactly that is. A background in advertising will be helpful. Besides, your college major doesn't matter as long as you are good at what you do.

So yes. I have decided.. for now.. what I want to do with the rest of my life. Now I need to figure out what exactly it is. I know it is marketing, but that is about all I know. Creative product promotion materials.. something like that.

It honestly sounds like lots of fun. To work within a company and come up with stuff that draws people into the store. It sounds like a job that I would enjoy.
